French international midfielder Mattéo Guendouzi could be in for a return to the Premier League this summer after reports have linked the Olympique de Marseille with a possible second stint in the top flight of English football.
Reports earlier today from French journalist Mohamed Toubache (sourced by Get French Football) have pointed to growing interest from foundering Premier League giants Tottenham as Spurs look to once again add fresh rounds into the chamber across yet another squad rebuild under a manager yet-to-be officially named.

Spurs would have plenty of work to do if they were to secure the services of the 24-year-old former Arsenal midfielder after Aston Villa is said to be in pole position after laying the considerable groundwork over a move that would see Guendouzi reunited with former boss Unai Emery at Villa Park.
The pair enjoyed a fruitful relationship at the Emirates Stadium during the Spaniard’s tenure in the Emirates technical area, with a young Guendouzi quickly becoming a key figure under Emery before he ultimately has a massive falling out with the club and Mikel Arteta which resulted in a move back to France with OM.
Another club linked to the midfielder is rumored to be West Ham United, with a €32m price tag placed on his head.
Guendouzi is thought to no longer be in the good graces of OM boss Igor Tudor, and a rekindling of what has already proven to be successful in the Premier League under Emery could certainly be viewed as a transfer coup for Villa, who may also look forward to summer signing Boubacar Kamara rediscovering his own form alongside a player he knows well.
