With Bayern Munich looking to snap up Kyle Walker, Manchester City need a replacement for the veteran full-back before the new season starts.
According to Football Insider, Achraf Hakimi is on the list of potential replacements for Kyle Walker at Manchester City this summer and the PSG fullback would be keen on a move to the Etihad.
It is added that Hakimi is keen to play in the English Premier League and under Pep Guardiola but his future may depend on whether City go for Benjamin Pavard as their first option.
Pavard may be easier to sort out a deal for, as Kyle Walker could be included as part of the transfer for the Frenchman as he plays for Bayern Munich.
However, whilst Pavard is a better defender than Hakimi, the World Cup semi-finalist offers similar pace to that of Kyle Walker – a key factor in why the 33-year-old has been so important to Man City for many years.
No potential transfer fee is mentioned for Hakimi, though it is expected that Man City would have to stump on a pretty large sum to land the Moroccan.
