A quartet of high-profile first-team stars are set to be left out of Premier League giants Chelsea’s upcoming pre-season tour of the United States of America, according to reports.
This comes amid ongoing efforts to shift all four from the books at Stamford Bridge.
The subject of outgoings has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in west London across the summer to date.
This comes with the Chelsea brass having done a stellar job of trimming down incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino’s heavily bloated squad.
To this point, all of Mateo Kovacic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic, Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, N’Golo Kante, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Cesar Azpilicueta have been moved on, in one form or another.
Christian Pulisic has joined AC Milan on a permanent deal. ✍️

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then the personnel clearout remains far from complete.
All four have been informed that they are not part of the club’s plans moving forward, with the Pensioners’ transfer team therefore hard at work to find each a new club.
Fulham and Inter Milan, it is understood, are pushing for the signatures of Hudson-Odoi and Lukaku respectively.
The future of wide-man Ziyech, on the other hand, remains up in the air, after he was the subject of a failed transfer to Al-Nassr late last month, owing to a failed medical with the Saudi giants.
Last up, reports doing the rounds late on Friday point towards Olympique Marseille as a potential landing spot for veteran frontman Aubameyang.
Chelsea are trying to sell four players this weekend.
Positive talks with Fulham for Hudson-Odoi ongoing, same with Inter Milan for Lukaku. Ziyech and Aubameyang remain in limbo: https://t.co/FXI2oYjRR4 #CFC
