Chelsea are set to net another £7m this summer as defender Ethan Ampadu closes in on a move to Championship side Leeds United, it has been reported.
The Welshman is currently the longest serving senior member of the Blues squad, but has appeared just 12 times for the Stamford Bridge outfit and has spent the last three seasons out on loan.
Relegated with each of those three sides (Sheffield United, Venezia and La Spezia), Ampadu is still just 22 years old and is now set to take his talents to Yorkshire and Leeds United, who themselves dropped out of the Premier League last season.

As per the Athletic, a deal has been agreed for around £7m plus potential add-ons, while Chelsea will have a sell-on clause added into the deal too, meaning that they could profit yet further should Ampadu reach his potential.
It continues Chelsea’s massive summer clearout after a disappointing 12th placed finish last season. Mason Mount has joined Manchester United, Mateo Kovacic made the switch to Manchester City and Kai Havertz headed across London to Arsenal for a combined fee of around £140m.
Meanwhile, Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy, Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have all also been sold for a total of £58m (as per transfermarkt) and N’Golo Kante, Baba Rahman, Timeoue Bakayoko and Cesar Azpilicueta have all departed on frees.
Several more are likely to leave this summer too, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Hakim Ziyech, Trevoh Chalobah and Marc Cucurella all up for sale,
