The representatives of N’Golo Kante have revealed that the Chelsea man is expected to extend his stay in west London, predicting that his client will then move to the middle-east, before revealing the shock rivals that have made an enquiry about the Frenchman ahead of this summer.

Chelsea’s midfielder has been out through a hamstring injury for much of the season, but made his return from the substitutes bench against Liverpool and, despite being 32-years-old, remains a key part of the Blues setup.

There is a problem, however, with the Frenchman’s contract due to expire this summer and no agreement having been reached about a potential stay.

He is not alone in his uncertainty, with Blues teammates Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic, Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all facing an unclear summer.

Kante, however, could be the easiest issue to solve, with his representatives explaining that he would be keen to stay at Stamford Bridge despite his deal ending.

“N’Golo would like to stay in London, where he has his habits”, it was revealed.

However, this hasn’t always been certain, and it was even revealed that London rivals Arsenal had made an enquiry for the World Cup Winner’s services this summer.

“Arsenal have also made an equiry”, he added.

The Gunners were close to signing Kante in 2016, only for Chelsea to beat them to the punch and take him out of Leicester City for around £25m. Arsenal subsequently signed Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Having already added Jorginho to their ranks this year, adding another ageing Chelsea midfielder may not have gone down too well in north London.
