Harry Kane remains one of the names dominating this summer’s transfer window.

Bayern Munich are pushing to sign the 29-year-old as they search for a new striker.

Tottenham, for now, are remaining firm over their not-for-sale stance, but the two clubs did meet on Thursday to discuss a potential deal.

Bayern-Tottenham meeting for Kane

Daniel Levy and Bayern Munich chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen met on Thursday to discuss a potential deal for Harry Kane, according to Sky.

Whilst talks remain open between the two clubs, no meaningful progress over a deal was made during the meeting.

Kane remains open to all options, at this stage, but has today flown out to Australia for Spurs’ pre-season tour.

The Australian coach made it clear to Kane that he wants to build a more exciting, attacking Tottenham team and have him as the striker.

Meanwhile, FC Bayern are understood to be confident that the 29-year-old wants to join them.

Their latest offer stands at £70 million, a figure they will need to significantly improve upon for Levy to even consider.
