Revealed: Manchester United’s number one target to replace Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United are on the hunt for a new center forward following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Erik ten Hag has been left without a reliable number nine with Ronaldo now gone and Anthony Martial struggling to stay fit.

The Red Devils are now set to press ahead with plans to bring in a new striker during the January transfer window.

FootMercato report that Cody Gakpo is the top priority target for Manchester United in January.

He is deemed to be the perfect profile to replace Ronaldo and even Jadon Sancho.

PSV Eindhoven want €60 million for the Dutch forward who is very popular with Ten Hag.

The 23-year-old netted in the Netherlands’ World Cup opener against Senegal.

United will get another look at him later on Friday when he faces Ecuador.

For his club, he has an incredible 34 goals and assists combined just this season.
