Manchester United have been linked with the shot-stopper for a while as they search for a David de Gea replacement, after the Spaniard left the Red Devils at the beginning of this month following the expiration of his contract.
Chelsea were thought to be favourites for the Cameroon international but they have since dropped their interest, leaving Manchester United in the driver’s seat.
Reports last month claimed Manchester United had made contact with Inter Milan’s Andre Onana over a move to Old Trafford, but the Serie A side’s asking price was a problem as they try to stay within their summer transfer budget.
The Times reported that Inter Milan set the asking price for the Cameroon goalkeeper at around £52m.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on United’s pursuit of Onana.
Romano claims that there is no issue on personal terms, as they have been agreed since last week.
