The Brazilian has had an interesting start to life at Spurs, but the Lilywhites do finally look to have found decent back-up for Harry Kane.
Richarlison was largely used as a sub early in the season, but with Tottenham now playing a game every three or four days, we have begun to see a lot more of the former Everton man.
Richarlison scored both goals as Tottenham beat Marseille 2-0 in their first Champions League group game of the season.
He has also provided assists vs Nottingham Forest and Fulham in the Premier League.
Now, ahead of the international break, Tottenham defender Cristian Romero has been discussing Richarlison and what he brings to Spurs:
“He has brought a lot to the team,” Romero told Sky Sports.
“We have Harry Kane, who, for me, is a maximum talent and one of the best strikers in the world. We also have [Heung-Min] Son and [Dejan] Kulusevski, who also make the difference.
“But Richy is giving us different things and that’s something which I think is infectious.”
Tottenham’s next outing comes vs Arsenal on October 1, but with Heung-min Son back in form, there is a decent chance Richarlison is left on the bench in favour of Harry Kane, Son and Dejan Kulusevski.
