Clubs from the Saudi Pro League are expected to reignite their interest in the signature of a headline member of the attacking ranks at Barcelona in January, according to reports.
The player in question? Robert Lewandowski.
For those who may have missed it, word was forthcoming a little over 24 hours ago that hitman Lewandowski, alongside Manchester City talisman Kevin De Bruyne, had been the subject of intense summer interest by way of the Middle East.
As per a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano:
‘Robert Lewandowski & Kevin de Bruyne received several approaches from Saudi clubs to join them this summer.’
Barca’s star frontman, though, ultimately opted to rebuff the interest, focused only on succeeding at the Camp Nou over the course of the season ahead.

⛔️ Both rejected as Lewa wanted to stay at Barça, same for KdB at City.
❌ Alaba also never considered that option, only Real Madrid.

As revealed by the reliable Catalunya Radio, several Pro League clubs will return with improved proposals for the Polish international following the turn of the year.
It would of course come as a surprise, though, if Lewandowski has altered his stance by then.
