Another star of the European game is set to join the Roshn Saudi League revolution as Serbian international midfield talisman Sergej Milinković-Savić nears a move to Al-Hilal.
The 28-year-old is widely viewed as one of the top midfield talents in Serie A and one of Lazio’s best players in the last decade of the club’s history, but will now jet-set off to the Gulf kingdom to join the growing list of football A-listers set to ply their trade outside of Europe.

According to football insider Fabrizio Romano, the former KRC Genk standout will sign on for three years at King Fahd International Stadium and will join up with Portuguese international Rúben Neves and Senegalese star Kalidou Koulibaly, who have both recently arrived in Riyadh.
Lazio is set to receive €40m for the Serbian, who scored 57 Serie A goals across the last eight seasons at the Stadio Olimpico, while also helping the capital side to a Coppa Italian triumph in 2018-19 as well as a pair of Supercoppa Italiana in 2017 and 2019 respectively.
Milinković-Savić, who has long been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and a host of other top clubs around Europe, becomes one of the most high-profile captures of the Public Investment Fund-backed summer transfer spending spree across the Saudi top-flight, which looks to persist further still.
