As per the Evening Standard, Tottenham have agreed a fee to sign Chelsea under-21 striker Jude Soonsup-Bell to bolster the club’s academy.
The 19-year-old is highly regarded at Cobham but has sought another pathway, winding down his contract to its final six months.
Soonsup-Bell is expected to complete a medical and put pen to paper on his new deal soon.
Tottenham will no doubt hope that Soonsup-Bell can help their struggling U21s side, which are currently stuck second bottom of Premier League 2.
The teenager had a similar offer from Manchester City and clubs abroad but is now expected to join the Lilywhites instead.
No transfer fee is mentioned in the report, but it is unlikely to be a huge some given Soonsup-Bell’s contract situation.
