After finally getting their first win of the season, Bologna will stay at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium this Saturday with the club playing hosts to an Empoli side still in search of all three points for the first time this campaign in Serie A.
Neither team have been able to hold their heads high in the league so far this season. Bologna, however, finally have a win under their belt in Serie A. Musa Barrow scored an equaliser for the club as they went 1-0 down to Fiorentina at home on Sunday, but with Marko Arnautovic scoring the winning goal just three minutes after the equaliser, Bologna left with all three points. Arnautovic is now the Serie A top scorer with six goals from six games, despite registering just one win all season long.
Although Thiago Motta’s men have now got a win under their belt, this can’t force us to look too far past their dismal form after six games in Serie A. What’s more, with Empoli desperate to win, the game could end up going either way and the result could end up being an early definer of their season.
