Match preview

The winless Cremonese registered yet another defeat last weekend at home to now make it a record-breaking 18 games without a victory ahead of a trip to the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium where Bologna awaits them.

Cremonese – alongside Elche of La Liga – are the only side across Europe’s top five leagues yet to win a game. It’s now been more than 1630 minutes of action in Serie A without them even looking like winning with just 13 goals on the board.

Worse yet for Cremonese, they lost to Monza last weekend, who were also promoted with them from Serie B last season. To put in perspective how bad the winless side have been, Monza are now 14 clear of them in the table.

As for Bologna, they got a fantastic win on the road against Udinese by beating the club 2-1 with a late goal from Stefan Posch. Nicola Sansone got another goal that day to throw his side into 11th.

Thiago Motta’s men are still one point adrift of the top half of the table, however, and with 29 goals now conceded, only those in the bottom half have let in more.
