Tottenham enter final stages of deal to sign Argentinian wonderkid

Tottenham Hotspur are in advanced talks with Rosario Central to sign Alejo Véliz.

The 19-year-old is having a great season in Argentina having scored 11 times this season.

The striker is being tipped to be one of the next South American stars to head to Europe and shine.

Tottenham have offered €15 million for Alejo Véliz, according to La Nacion.

Rosario’s president and the board of directors will meet on Friday to assess the offer.

Their intention is to reach an economic agreement with Spurs but also to keep him on loan until December.
