Chalobah has been on Chelsea’s books for many years now, but only recently became a regular in their senior side.
The centre-back would impress Thomas Tuchel in pre-season last summer and had become a key part of their backline.
He was a regular fixture for the Blues early in the season and did earn some minutes later in the campaign.
However, despite the early-season promise, Chalobah has since slipped firmly down the defensive pecking order.
Even with Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen gone and only one centre-back brought in to replace the pair so far, the 23-year-old has seen no minutes so far this campaign.
Instead, Thomas Tuchel has preferred to use Reece James and Cesar Azpilicueta on the right side of a back three, with veteran defender Thiago Silva through the middle and new signing Kalidou Koulibaly on the left.
So, it is not too surprising to see Chalobah being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
As per the Evening Standard, Tottenham and Roma have joined Inter Milan in showing an interest in Chalobah.
It is added that the stopper has concerns about game time under Tuchel this season as the Blues continue talks with Leicester City for £80m-rated Wesley Fofana.
Chalobah could be open to a loan or a permanent switch, though Chelsea loaning him to a top-four rival does seem somewhat unlikely.
