Chelsea youngster Omari Hutchinson could be in line to make his long-awaited Premier League debut after the winger has been included in Graham Potter’s travelling squad to take on Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
The 21-year-old made the switch across London from Arsenal to Stamford Bridge over the summer, having been an unused substitute on 8 occasions in the top-flight last campaign for the Gunners.
And he has begun the Premier League 2 in fine form this season, with four goals and four assists to his name in 10 outings thus far, and was spotted training with the Blues first team this week.
Now, he has gone one step further, with Potter seemingly having included him in his matchday squad as he takes his new side back to his old stomping ground at the AMEX stadium.

Hutchinson will be hoping that his inclusion is more fruitful than those under Mikel Arteta, though Chelsea’s options in the wide areas at present suggest that his appearances would at best be cameos.
Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic have all impressed since Potter took charge, though Hakim Ziyech has continued to look out of place in west London.
Chelsea fans getting their first glimpse of him in senior action now seems a matter of when rather than if, with a loan move expected in January. However, he could be fast-tracked into the first team should he sieze his opportunities under Potter.
