A major update on the future of Tottenham Hotspur loanee Dejan Kulusevski has been confirmed late on Thursday.
The subject of wide-man Kulusevski’s future has of course been catapulted back into the headlines in north London over the course of the last couple of weeks.
This came amid claims that negotiations between the Lilywhites and their Juventus counterparts, surrounding the former’s option to buy, had hit a snag.
Daniel Levy and the transfer team at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium were reported to be seeking a discount on their agreed €35 million option, leading to understandable frustration at Juve.

And though such news culminated in widespread disapproval amongst the Spurs faithful – keen to see Kulu stay put – in the end, it has proven a fruitful operation.
This comes amid confirmation that a deal has now been struck, for the Swedish international’s move to England to become permanent.
Kulusevski, as a result, ‘will be announced as a Tottenham player on a permanent deal in the next days’.
The 23-year-old is expected to put pen to paper on a contract through the summer of 2027.
