Arsenal have been very active in the transfer market and are currently the highest spenders in the Premier League this summer.
Arsenal first secured a £65m move for Chelsea forward Kai Havertz. They then confirmed a £38.5m deal for Ajax centre-back Jurrien Timber.
And finally, they broke their club and British transfer record for Declan Rice, who joined for £100m plus £5m in add-ons.
Only Kai Havertz was signed in time to feature in their first pre-season game of the summer last week, but both Timber and Rice have now flown to America for the Gunners’ pre-season tour.
Whilst in America, Timber posted on Instagram yesterday with some pictures of him in training with his new teammates alongside the caption: “First days with the squad.”
Declan Rice is already a fan of the young Dutchman and replied: “My brooo,” while Gabriel responded with a fire emoji and Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo – an international teammate of Timber – responded with a love heart emoji.
