Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a thoroughly successful transfer window so far bringing in six new players.
Spurs have managed to fill several key positions by signing Ivan Perišić, Djed Spence, Yves Bissouma Clément Lenglet Richarlison and Fraser Forster.
Now, the focus is on moving players out the door, however, Antonio Conte’s side don’t appear to be done with further arrivals and an attacking midfielder is an area which they are still looking at.

Spurs’ long-term interest in Maddison
According to the Athletic’s Charlie Eccleshare, Tottenham have held a long-term interest in signing James Maddison.
As of now, a move for the midfielder is NOT imminent, but given there is over a month left in the window, that could change.
The 25-year-old only has two years left on his contract and his value could significantly diminish over the next 12 months.
He told Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel:
“They’ve very much talked that down.
“The sense from them is that he’s not someone they’re looking at.
“But I wouldn’t totally rule it out because they looked at him before, he’s a player they like and he’s only got two years left on his contract.
“There also comes a point where a club of that standing has to be realistic and say this is our last chance to get a big, big fee for this player.
“They might look at Bissuouma, who Spurs got for £25 million and who would have been double that last summer, so based on that Leicester might say his value could diminish this time next year.
“We’ve got a month or so left and I think there might be a signing or two Spurs make that they can afford to leave a bit later and call someone like Leicester’s bluff.
“So we’ll see on that one, there’s nothing to suggest it’s going to happen yet, but these things can change especially with a month left.”
Zaniolo on Spurs’ list of targets
Eccleshare adds that AS Roma’s Nicolò Zaniolo is another player who is on Spurs’ list of targets.
But like with Maddison, a deal this summer would be expensive and would test just how keen Conte’s side are to land a midfielder of that ilk.
On Zaniolo, he told Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel:
“He is someone Spurs like, he’s on their list, but Roma want a lot of money for him.”
“So, again, it’s not an easy deal to get done, but that said, Premier League clubs are in a strong position as a buy because they can afford to offer big wages, that a lot of clubs in other leagues can’t.
“It depends how much you push for that given it’s not theoretically a position that they desperately need
“So they might think let’s wait and reassess where we are in January or next summer.”
