Premier League giants Chelsea have, on Friday, confirmed that a highly-regarded up-and-coming member of the club’s first-team setup has put pen to paper on a new contract.
The player in question? Armando Broja.
Hitman Broja, of course, returned to Stamford Bridge this summer, on the back of a fresh spell away from his parent club.
The Albanian spent the campaign on loan in England’s top-flight, lining out for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Southampton.
And Broja’s efforts on the south coast (9 goals), evidently, proved enough to convince Thomas Tuchel and co. of his readiness to contribute back in west London over the course of the season ahead.

In turn, on the back of the respective departures of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner, the 20-year-old was afforded a permanent first-team berth earlier this summer.
As confirmed late on Friday evening, the gifted attacker has been handed a new contract in England’s capital, set to see him stay put for the foreseeable future.
In a post across the club’s official website and social media platforms, Chelsea confirmed that:
‘Armando Broja has committed his future to Chelsea by signing a new long-term contract until 2028.’
A new deal for Armando Broja! ✍️🔵
