Manchester United star Diogo Dalot has, late on Sunday, provided an insight into his unique celebration with teammate Antony.
For those who may have missed it, Dalot and Antony took their place front and centre in United’s latest outing earlier this evening.
Making the trip to the City Ground amid ongoing efforts to clinch a spot in the Premier League’s top-4, the Red Devils made short work of Nottingham Forest, to the tune of a 2-0 triumph.
Antony, for his part, played a hand in both goals, opening the scoring just beyond the half-hour mark, before laying on Diogo Dalot’s clincher courtesy of a fine assist:

After the latter slotted beyond Keylor Navas with aplomb, Dalot and Antony then caught the eye once more, in unveiling a new handshake celebration:

And, speaking to the media post-match, the former went on to provide an insight into the background behind his post-goal pose.
‘It was special. The moment of the goal was important too, a little bit more comfortable.’
He continued:
‘They were creating chances. It is always special to score for this club. The celebration is my little thing with Antony.
‘His rewards are coming for all he is doing. As we progress the individuals will come out.’
