Manchester United head into the weekend’s action sat 5th in the Premier League.
The Red Devils have won three and drawn two of their last five. They also have a game in hand on 4th-place Newcastle.
As a result, a win over Villa would likely see United move into the top-four in the near future.
However, Aston Villa now have a new manager at the helm, with former Arsenal man Unai Emery set to step into the dugout for the first time on Sunday.
Now, ahead of the game, Diogo Dalot has warned his United teammates of the potential new manager bounce:
“Not difficult but different,” Dalot told Sky Sports when asked what impact Villa’s managerial change will have on United.
“Maybe they will change the way of play, I don’t know, but basically we have to focus on what we need to do and be prepared for any kind of challenge that Villa can give us. I’m sure it will be a tough afternoon but we have everything and if we’re at our best level I think we have good chances to win.”
