Aubameyang joined Chelsea from FC Barcelona in September of 2022 for €12m.
His time in west London has been unproductive to say the least.
The ageing forward has notched just 21 outings across all competitions for the Blues, in which he has scored a dismal three goals and provided one assist. Only one of those goals came in the Premier League as well, which goes some way to explaining Chelsea’s awful 2022/23 season.
Before Barcelona, Aubameyang plied his trade with their London rivals, Arsenal.
Aubameyang had a much more productive spell in north London, where he netted 92 and assisted 21 in 163 games.
Now though, Aubameyang is seemingly keen to return to Spain with Barcelona.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang:
“I would like to return to FC Barcelona, but we will see.”
