Juventus will head to the San Siro to meet with Inter Milan for another instalment of the Derby d’Italia with the Old Lady sat down in seventh and way adrift of the Milan side who sit in second ahead of this one.
Inter edged past Porto in the Champions League in midweek after drawing with them 0-0 three weeks on from defeating them in a 1-0 victory at the San Siro. It now sets up a clash against Benfica in a few weeks.
Inter were stunned by Spezia last time out in Serie A, as they also lost to Bologna after beating Porto. It means just one victory in the past four games for Simeone Inzaghi’s men after they beat Lecce 2-0.
Inzaghi’s side are above Juventus in the table by 12 points still after the 15-point deduction for the Turin side. It does, however, mean they would be above them in the table if it wasn’t for that.
Juventus eased past Freiburg in midweek in a 2-0 victory in Germany, as they now move into the last eight of the Europa League too.
