Eduardo Camavinga’s agent Joshua Barnett has shut the door on any potential departure this January, claiming that his client is very happy with Los Blancos despite the interest from the Premier League.
The French midfielder, who joined the Spanish giants in the summer of 2021, has started just five La Liga games as he struggles to displace either Toni Kroos or Luka Modric in Carlo Ancelotti’s midfield, though the 20 year old has appeared in every game this season, largely as a substitute.

It led to reports claiming that both Arsenal and Chelsea were interested in a loan move for the youngster until the end of the season, which could in turn have led to a potential permanent move in the summer, as occured with Martin Odegaard in 2021.
However, those rumours have been quashed in emphatic fashion by the Frenchman’s agent, who has claimed that there is ‘no truth’ in reports linking him with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu this winter.
“There’s no truth”, Barnett told Fabrizio Romano. “Of course every club in the world would want him, but he’s very happy in Real Madrid and Real Madrid are very happy with Camavinga”
It means that both Arsenal and Chelsea will be sent back to the drawing board as they hunt for a new midfielder, with the Blues already having seen a £55m bid for Brighton star Moises Caicedo turned down.
