Arsenal’s plans to sign Declan Rice look to be going well.
After West Ham’s Europa Conference League win on Wednesday, Hammers chairman David Sullivan confirmed Rice’s exit is very likely: “We gave the promise last summer that if he gave us his all, we would let him leave the club.
“It’s a fair and proper thing to do.”
Now, an insight into the fee Arsenal will have to pay for Rice and the players West Ham will replace him with has been revealed.
According to the Telegraph, West Ham want to splash the Rice windfall on multiple players all across the pitch, and are eyeing moves for Leicester City’s Harvey Barnes, Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse, and Ajax’s Edson Alvarez.
It is also added that Arsenal have moved a step closer to clinching a £92m deal for the Hammers captain.
After Rice, it is speculated that Arsenal will also try to target Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
