The player in question? Trevoh Chalobah.

As confirmed by a host of sources, Monaco standout Axel Disasi is all set to take his talents to Stamford Bridge, as part of a €45 million deal.

Disasi’s move to west London comes with Wesley Fofana sidelined long-term once more, after rupturing his Anterior Cruciate Ligament in pre-season.
Well, one player set to be swiftly knocked down Chelsea’s defensive pecking order comes in the form of the aforementioned Trevoh Chalobah.
And, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then one club eager to take advantage of this fact comes in the form of West Ham United.
As per the reliable Jacob Steinberg of The Guardian, amid an ongoing search for fresh blood at centre-half, the hierarchy at the London Stadium have set their sights on Cobham graduate Chalobah.
The Irons are not the only interested party, however, with Champions League finalists Inter Milan also understood to be keeping a close eye on the situation of the 24-year-old.
