Premier League outfit West Ham United have, on Monday, confirmed the latest addition to the club’s first-team setup.
The latest player primed to take his talents to the London Stadium? Lucas Paqueta.
The last week, of course, saw links between midfielder Paqueta and the Irons ramp up in a major way.
This comes after David Moyes and co. identified the Brazilian international, fresh off a campaign which saw him directly contribute to 18 goals across all competitions, as the club’s first-choice target.
And now, as alluded to above, Moyes has officially landed his man.
In a series of posts across the club’s social media platforms late on Thursday evening, West Ham unveiled Paqueta as their latest summer signing.
His signing, it is understood, has set the powers that be at West Ham back an initial sum in the region of €43 million, with the potential to rise to 60 million in the case of all add-ons being activated.
Born in Brazil, but now East London is his home.

Paqueta marks the 8th summer arrival in east London, following all of Gianluca Scamacca, Nayef Aguerd, Maxwel Cornet, Emerson Palmieri, Thilo Kehrer, Flynn Downes and Alphonse Areola in penning terms with Moyes’ side.
