Manchester United have agreed a £72m deal to sign Denmark international striker Rasmus Hojlund from Serie A side Atalanta.
The 20-year-old will move to Old Trafford for a fee of £64m, plus a potential £8m in add-ons.
The club are yet to confirm the deal, but it is understood that Hojlund flew to Manchester on Tuesday for his medical.
The striker scored 16 goals in all competitions last season but there is some speculation over his ability to lead the line for Manchester United.
Now, an update on Hojlund’s signing has been provided by Fabrizio Romano, who claims Hojlund has passed his medical and already filmed his first interview as a United player. He has signed a five-year deal with the option of a further year.
It is added that fans are expected to get their first glimpse of the player when he is unveiled at Old Trafford on Saturday before the pre-season match against Lens.
