England fans take slam two players during Ukraine clash

Supporters of the England national team have taken to social media in their droves on Saturday, to make clear their frustrations with two members of the country’s squad.

England, of course, are currently locked in action.

In their 5th group stage qualifier for next year’s European Championships, the Three Lions have made the trip to Ukraine, hopeful of keeping the nation’s perfect record alive.

As things stand, though, Gareth Southgate’s troops are on course for a solitary point, rather than three.

This comes after Kyle Walker was forced to cancel out Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko’s opener late in the first-half:

And, as alluded to above, amid what has proven a largely underwhelming display on the part of their side to date, the England faithful have not been at all shy in singling two players out for particularly heavy criticism.

Struggling to keep up with the pace of the game, and both targeted as being at fault for Ukraine’s opener, the backlash across social media has been as ruthless as it has swift, with just some of the Twitter highlights showcased below:
