An insight into the reasoning behind Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane’s proposed transfer to German giants Bayern Munich being held up has been provided on Thursday evening.
The name of frontman Kane, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the media headlines once more across the day to date.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that, at long last, an agreement had been struck between the respective boards at Spurs, and Bayern, over a transfer for the England international.
As first reported by David Ornstein of The Athletic, the two clubs have found common ground on a deal worth in excess of €100 million.

And yet, in the hours since, claims have mounted that the transfer remains far from complete.
Why, though?
This evening, however, further insight into the situation has been provided.
As per a mounting number of sources across the German media, ‘financial’ issues represent the sole delay in Kane’s Bundesliga switch being sealed.
Agent fees have been touted as one such problem, albeit with fresh contacts late on Thursday having reassured Bayern that the club’s chief summer target is indeed close to joining the club.
🚨“Financial issues in the terms” are what’s causing issues at the moment for Harry Kane’s potential transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich.
