A fresh insight into the imminent arrival of AC Milan star Sandro Tonali at Premier League outfit Newcastle United has been forthcoming on Friday.
The name of midfielder Tonali, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines at St. James’ Park across the week to date.
This comes after the Newcastle brass, seemingly out of the blue, struck a big-money agreement with their counterparts at Milan, over the signing of the Italian international.
A deal for a sum with the potential to rise as high as €80 million is understood to be on the verge of completion, with Tonali set to add further bite and quality to an increasingly impressive midfield under the watch of Eddie Howe.

So, when exactly could the transfer be made official?
Well, as alluded to above, an insight into as much has been forthcoming on Friday evening. And, if the latest media chatter is anything to go by, then the Newcastle faithful will need to be patient.
As per a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano:
‘Sandro Tonali deal is completed but will not be announced today or this week as it takes time to complete formal details.’
Those of a Magpies persuasion, though, need not fret, with it also assured that ‘the deal is done and sealed’, with ‘all documents in place’ for a six-year contract.
