According to journalist Dean Jones, West Ham captain Declan Rice is now just waiting for Arsenal to make a bid for him this summer.
Jones provided an update on the ‘world-class’ midfielder.
Jones spoke to Give Me Sport about the brilliant midfielder and said: “It’s obviously an intriguing one, but from Declan Rice’s point of view, at the moment, all the focus is waiting for Arsenal to make an offer. That’s his preference.”
Declan Rice has been a mainstay in West Ham’s side for many years now, notching 234 appearances for the Hammers’ senior side to date.
But with West Ham on the decline and currently still in the relegation battle, it is clear that Rice has outgrown the club somewhat.
As a result, he is expected to make a big move this summer. Chelsea, Rice’s club as a child, have been linked on and off for several years now.
