Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has, on Friday, provided updates on the availability of several headline members of his squad.

United, of course, are set to return to action on Saturday afternoon.

Fresh off sending Crystal Palace packing from the Carabao Cup during the week, the Red Devils will play host to Roy Hodgson and co. once more, on this occasion in the Premier League.

Speaking to the media on Friday, United’s headmaster was therefore asked for the latest on his squad’s wellbeing.

And, first up came a predictably blunt update on Jadon Sancho.

Wide-man Sancho remains banished to the stands at present, owing to a public falling out with boss Ten Hag.

“Jadon Sancho case? I have said everything. Nothing to add”.

The news regarding Antony, on the other hand, proved altogether more positive from a Reds perspective.

This comes with the Brazilian, at the heart of an ongoing assault investigation, in line for a return to team training on Saturday.

He will not be available to feature against Palace, but could be back in contention in midweek, when United welcome Turkish giants Galatasaray to Old Trafford in the Champions League.

Last up, meanwhile, comes the latest on Lisandro Martinez.

Stopper Martinez was forced to sit out both of his side’s last two fixtures, after reaggravating a foot injury suffered all the way back in April.

And he will not be available any time soon, either, amid confirmation that the Argentine international ‘will be out of action for an extended period’.

Fellow defender Sergio Reguilon has also picked up a fresh fitness concern.
