On the latest instalment of the Norwegian documentary “Haaland: The Big Decision”, Alfie Haaland has been speaking about his son’s future.
Prior to Haaland’s move to Manchester City being agreed, the striker’s father revealed how long intends to stay at each club he joins.
The 22-year-old had a whole host of Europe’s best clubs chasing him last summer and given his time at the Etihad so far, interest from these clubs will have only grown stronger.
Haaland’s Manchester City contract also contains a release clause which comes into effect during the summer of 2024, further suggesting he is not planning to stick around for long.
Haaland: “Then he can stay in every league for three to four years maximum”
Haaland’s father has revealed that his son wants to test himself in every major league.
He also adds that he is only likely to stay at each club for a maximum of three to four years.
“Then he can stay in every league for three to four years maximum.
“He could have 2½ years in Germany, 2½ in England, and then in Spain, Italy, France, right?
“We do not know if it will be like that, but I think he would like to test his abilities in the big leagues.”
