Premier League outfit Everton have, on Friday, announced the permanent departure of striker Salomon Rondon.
Hitman Rondon, of course, has spent the last 18 months plying his trade on the blue half of Merseyside.
This comes after the Venezuelan was lured back to England for yet another reunion with ex-Toffees boss Rafael Benitez.
Since Benitez’s Goodison Park departure, though, Rondon, altogether unsurprisingly, has found game time altogether difficult to come by.

In fact, to this point in the current campaign, the 33-year-old has been afforded just a solitary league start.
In turn, it should come as little surprise, on Friday, to hear of Rondon’s Everton stint being brought to a definitive end.
‘Salomon Rondon has left Everton with immediate effect after reaching an agreement with the Club to terminate his contract.
‘The Venezuela striker joined the Blues from Chinese team Dalian Professional in August 2021 and made 31 appearances for Everton, starting 13 matches and scoring three goals.
‘The 33-year-old’s deal was initially due to end at the end of June 2023.
‘Everyone at Everton wishes Salomon all the best for the future.’
