A long-time member of the defensive setup at Premier League outfit Everton has, late on Saturday, confirmed that he is set to move on this summer.
The player in question? Yerry Mina.
Stopper Mina has been on the books at Goodison Park for a full five years now, since swapping Barcelona for Merseyside as part of a €30 million deal back in 2018.
Since, the Colombian international has gone on to endure something of a hit-and-miss stint in the blue of Everton, all too often unavailable for selection owing to injury.
This season alone, owing to a combination of fitness struggles and competition for places, Mina has managed a paltry six league starts.
Three such appearances have come in the Toffees’ last three outings, though, suggesting that boss Sean Dyche remains a believer in the talents of the 28-year-old, when fully fit and firing.

Taking to his official Instagram account on Saturday night, the one-time Palmeiras standout unveiled a post, confirming that Sunday’s final day showdown with Bournemouth will be his last for Everton:
