Arsenal have been handed a major boost on the injury front as it has emerged that midfielder Thomas Partey could well return ahead of the international break, and could even be among the squad for their clash with Everton at the weekend.
The midfielder suffered a thigh injury ahead of his side’s clash with Fulham, and has missed a further two games since. The Ghanaian midfielder missed the end of last season with a similar problem, and there were fears that it could be a reoccurring injury, which would leave him sidelined until nearer the World Cup.
However, though it is in the same area, it seems to be far less severe, and the 29-year-old could be back far sooner than feared.

“Partey, yet to take part in full training, is hoping to be involved in some group work this week”, report the London Evening Standard.
There is even better news for Gunners fans too, as they add that “there is an outside chance of him making the squad for Sunday’s clash with Everton”.
He has also been called up by Ghana for the upcoming international matches against Brazil and Nicaragua, both of which take place at the end of September, further suggesting that a return to full fitness is not too far away for the midfielder.
