Arsenal summer transfer target Moises Caicedo has admitted that a move to Real Madrid is his ‘dream’, despite revealing that he ‘suffered a lot’ when his move to north London broke down in January.
The Ecuador midfielder has shot to prominence with Brighton, and was the subject of failed bids in January, one from Chelsea and three from Arsenal, despite putting up a social media post demanding that he be allowed to leave.
In bizarre fashion, however, he has now completed a complete turnaround at the AMEX stadium, and it was announced last week that he had penned a new deal keeping him at the club until 2027, with no release clause included, an additional two years on his existing deal on the south coast.

However, he is still expected to leave this summer, a fact made more likely should Brighton not manage to qualify for European football next season, though they at present look well placed to do so.
Arsenal are still keen on adding him to their ranks, though he is reportedly less of a priority than fellow midfielder Declan Rice, who is thought to be the Gunners’ no.1 target.
But now, the youngster has revealed that his dream lies away from the Premier League.
“I’m doing things very well now; so why not joining Real Madrid one day and win the Champions League? It’s my biggest dream”, Caicedo added.
As it stands, Real Madrid are thought to be in the race for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham this summer, but with the longer-term futures of all of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Dani Ceballos in the Los Blancos engine room in doubt, the Brighton man could be an option for the Spanish giants should he not leave Brighton this summer.
