Arsenal and Mikel Arteta are looking to continue their impressive summer transfer window by making a move for Ukrainian talent Mykhaylo Mudryk before the end of the transfer window, according to reports.
The Gunners have already made five signings this summer, splashing out on Manchester City pair Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko, while they have also signed Fabio Vieira from FC Porto. Backup goalkeeper Matt Turner and young winger Marquinhos have also joined the club.
But much has been made of potential future business, with a ‘mystery winger’ and a central midfielder thought to still be on the radar. This has intensified by the impending departure of Nicolas Pepe, with the record signing set to leave on loan for French side Nice.
Quizzed on future transfers, Arteta revealed that the focus remains on outgoings for now, but added that ‘anything can happen’ between now and the transfer deadline.
“What we can communicate we always do when it’s the right moment,” the Arsenal manager said. “We discussed that we have a big squad and we’ve allowed some players to leave. Until the end of the window, anything can happen.”

Arsenal to target Mykhaylo Mudryk?
Now, as per reports in the Mirror, Arsenal are keen on signing winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, who currently plays for Shakhtar Donetsk.
He has been handed the nickname of the ‘Ukrainian Messi’ due to his fast feet and ability to carry the ball well, and has two goals and nine assists to his name in the colours of Shakhtar.
Mudryk has already turned down interest from Brentford this summer, and signed a new deal with his current club back in February that keeps him there until 2026. However, if Arsenal come calling, he may change his mind.
