Manchester United faced off with FC Barcelona in the second of two Round of 32 Europa League ties on Thursday evening.
The first leg saw United snatch a 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou last week, but as away goals are now scrapped, the two United goals did not mean that much.
They meant even less when Robert Lewandowski gave Barcelona an early lead at Old Trafford, with La Blaugrana very much on top in the first 45.
However, Manchester United were able to come from behind in the second half thanks to goals from Brazilian duo, Fred and Antony.
Antony, who has been injured for some time, came on at the break for Wout Weghorst.
And now, Ten Hag has explained why he made that call:
“He is brave and will go with it and when he has the opportunity he will shoot.”
