Real Madrid star Federico Valverde has taken to social media on Saturday night, to unveil a get well message to Atletico Madrid’s Reinildo.
For those not aware, the name of defender Reinildo has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital across the evening to date.
This, unfortunately, however, has come for all the wrong reasons.
Reinildo, earlier today, featured from the off, as Atletico battled to a share of the spoils in a typically fiery Madrid derby at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Midway through the first-half, though, the Mozambican was forced to depart the action with what has since proven to be a serious injury.
Ensuing scans on the back of the clash revealed that Reinildo is in line for a prolonged spell on the sidelines, with a ruptured ACL in his right knee.

Midfielder Valverde was the man involved in the challenge which ultimately culminated in Reinildo’s injury, with the Uruguayan, in turn, having managed to put rivalries aside in posting the following get well message on Instagram:
