A pair of updates surrounding Brighton & Hove Albion star Moises Caicedo’s imminent move to Premier League rivals Chelsea have
The name of Ecuadorian international Caicedo has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in west London once more across the day to date.
This comes amid widespread confirmation that the 21-year-old, at long last, is on the verge of taking his talents Stamford Bridge.
After Caicedo opted to turn down the advances of Liverpool in favour of linking up with Chelsea, Todd Boehly and co. responded in kind, confirming to Brighton their intention to lodge a 4th and final offer for the Seagulls’ crown jewel.
And now, on Saturday evening, an insight into the terms of this proposal has been provided.

The insight, though, does not end there.
Following news of the mammoth fee set to be forked over for Caicedo surfacing, so too has an update on the midfielder’s alleged Blues contract.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Caicedo have come to an agreement on the terms of an eight-year deal, featuring the option for a ninth, all the way through to 2032.

…but the contract will also include an option until 2032, one more season.
