The impressive summer being enjoyed by Premier League newcomers Fulham has continued on Sunday, courtesy of another high-profile deal.
The latest star set to take his talents to Craven Cottage with a view to the new campaign? Bernd Leno.
Recent weeks, of course, had seen shot-stopper Leno hotly tipped to take his talents across London to link up with Marco Silva’s troops.
This comes with the German international having been forced to watch on from the sidelines for the majority of last season, after slipping behind Aaron Ramsdale in the pecking order between the posts at Arsenal.
Not only that, but in splashing out to lure Matt Turner to the club from the New England Revolution, the powers that be in north London made clear once and for all that Leno had been deemed surplus to requirements.

In turn, on Sunday, it should not come as a huge surprise to hear of Leno’s Arsenal exit being all but confirmed.
Fulham, it is understood, are ready to fork over £8 million to bring their latest high-profile signing to west London.
With the personal terms of a contract having already been agreed with Leno himself, too, the transfer could therefore be made official as early as this coming week:
