Kylian Mbappe (who else) has broken the deadlock in the second leg between Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain, and double the French side’s aggregate lead in the last 16 clash between the two sides.
In doing so, the French star has moved up the rankings to second in PSG’s all-time goal scoring record, firing goal number 157 past a helpless Thibaut Courtois.
The goal took him above Zlatan Ibrahimovic, although the Swede will argue that his goals came in 24 fewer games for the Parisians, giving him a better goal per game ratio than the young star.

Mbappe could have had more, with a further two goals ruled out for offside on the night. It seems unlikely at present, however, that he will take the record for top scorer, currently held by Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguayan found the net 200 times during his stint at the Parc de Princes, and with Mbappe ou 157 and out of contract in the summer, he seems unlikely to be able to surpass the veteran in the goalscoring charts unless he decides to remain in Paris and sign a new deal.

The greatest player in the world?
Put through on goal, he had the audacity to sell Courtois a dummy, before rolling the ball into an empty net.

Should he join Real Madrid and Courtois in the summer, they will get arguably the best player in the world for nothing. It would be a significant coup.
