The Fantasy Premier League deadline for gameweek five is 6:00 pm UK time on Tuesday.
One of the most important aspects of FPL is picking your captain each week. Whoever you select as your captain with earn double their standard score, or triple it if you chose to play your triple captain chip, which you can do once per season.
But deciding on your captain each week can be a very tough decision that can make or break your game week.
With this in mind, 101GreatGoals will be providing you with an insight into the best captain picks for every game week this season.

Best FPL captains gameweek 5
Rodrigo vs Everton (6.5)
One of the surprise packages of the 2022/23 campaign so far has been Rodrigo.
The Spaniard had a fairly average stint in England up until this term. But with Patrick Bamford still struggling to find his feet again following some serious injury woes, Rodrigo has become a focal point of Leeds’ attack.
And as Leeds are playing an Everton side who are yet to keep a league clean sheet this season, there is a good chance he will be on the scoresheet again in GW5. Everton have the second highest expected goals against stat in the Premier League currently with an xG of 7.1. Only Bournemouth who shipped nine to Liverpool have a higher total with 7.4.
Gabriel Jesus vs Aston Villa (8.2)
Gabriel Jesus continues to prove a goal threat for Arsenal whenever he plays. Granted he did not score or assist vs Fulham in GW4, but he is still the 3rd-best forward on FPL and Arsenal, on paper, have a very easy game this week.
Aston Villa have had a poor start to 2022/23 and are especially laps defensively. The Villains have failed to keep a clean sheet in all of their games this season, including in the League Cup vs Bolton and on the opening weekend vs Bournemouth.
So, it seems likely that a team playing as well as Arsenal will get a few goals vs Steven Gerrard and co.
Erling Haaland vs Nottingham Forest (11.8)
If you do not have Erling Haaland in your team already, you really, really should sign him.
The Norwegian has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water and is currently sitting on six goals from four outings.
Haaland is the top scoring player on all of FPL heading into the next gameweek. He also has the most big chances (10) in the league and the highest xG.
And whilst Nottingham Forest do have a good goalkeeper in Dean Henderson, their centre-backs, especially Steve Cook, are likely to struggle against Haaland.
The only issue you may have with Haaland is Pep could opt to bench him this week as City have another game in the same week.
