Sky Sports News claim that Thiago Alcântara is set to miss six weeks of action due to a hamstring injury.
The midfielder was forced off in the 51st minute at Craven Cottage last Saturday.
The Reds could therefore be without the 32-year-old for around seven matches.
Harvey Elliott was the player who came on to replace him at Fulham and he could be thrust into the line-up against Palace on Monday evening.

Klopp has been speaking about the prospect of bringing in a new midfielder and on Friday morning, he told reporters:
“I am happy with the size and quality of my squad.
“There are different solutions – one is the transfer market but it only makes sense if you can bring in the right player
“All the other solutions are inside the squad, we definitely have too many injuries – that is clear.
“Naby will be back on Monday. Kostas will train today for the first time, he might be back.
“If the right player was available and the opportunity was there, we would have done it.
“We have had a lot of conversations already and it doesn’t look like anything will happen.”
