Fulham’s outside chance at securing European football for the first time in years is all but over after Marco Silva’s Cottagers have run into a spot of bother in the form table of late in the English capital, with the club losing four of their last six outings including a three-match losing run that now sees them ten points adrift of the top six.
Silva’s troops have been dealt a number of cruel twists of fates that have played a massive part in their struggles, and those same issues persist coming into the weekend against relegation-threatened Leicester City. Andreas Pereira and Tim Ream are both unfit for service and remain out for the rest of the 2022-23 campaign, with left-back Layvin Kurzawa still laid up in dry dock in his own right.
Star striker Aleksandar Mitrović continues to serve the remainder of his eight-match suspension, and his absence has been sorely felt in the forward line. Still, Fulham should be expected to take points against the Foxes who have a fight on their hands if they are to avoid the drop down to the Championship.
