Garnacho signed for Manchester United’s academy back in October of 2020, leaving home town club Atletico Madrid.
The 18-year-old has since impressed at under-18 level, scoring 16 goals and providing eight assists in 31 outings.
He has also taken a step up to under-23 level where he scored three and assisted one in 12.
And though he only turned 18 last month, Garnacho was handed his senior Manchester United debut earlier this year, coming off the bench for one minute vs Chelsea.
The winger was then given a slightly longer outing on the final day of the campaign vs Crystal Palace, notching 11 minutes of senior action.
Under Erik ten Hag, meanwhile, the Argentine has been afforded a chance to show what he can do in pre-season.

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are attempting to tie their promising young talent to a new deal. This comes with Garnacho’s current contract running out in just under a year’s time.
“There is a meeting scheduled between Garnacho’s agent and Manchester United in the coming weeks,” Romano told his SubStack readers.
“[…] This meeting will be to decide what’s best for Garnacho’s future, in terms of staying at the club or being sent out on loan. Manchester United are set to offer him a new contract, but he needs to play football.”
